A noun phrase is composed of a noun and its modifiers which can be placed before or after the noun.

something easy
plants inside
A noun phrase has three functions.
1. Subject
The Filipino food is delicious.
2. Object
The manager checks the crew's reports after work.
3. Subjective Complementary
Mr. Raymond Sanchez is the company president.
